Our Community Involvement

We are involved in a variety of local projects and causes, including the Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries. Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries There are approximately 6,000 children in Foster Care in Alabama. The purpose of Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries (ABCH) is to protect, nurture, and restore children and families through Christ-centered services.

ABCH has championed the statewide cause of needy, neglected, and dependent children since the late 1800s. Thousands of children and their families have received food, shelter, love, comfort, and spiritual guidance under the Christian direction of dedicated men and women. ABCH provides care to children and families through the ministries of Foster Care, Campus Homes for Children, Family Care, College Care, and Pathways Professional Counseling. We do our part by bringing supplies and donations for the foster children.

As a locally-owned co-op store, our business reflects our values. We’re happy to support meaningful causes like the ABCH as part of our business mission.
