![]() | Don & Toni Roberts, Co-Owners Don Roberts has been in the flooring industry for 42 years. As owner of Don’s Carpet One Floor & Home and co-owner of Wheat’s Carpet One Floor & Home, his job is to make sure his store is a good place for customers to shop for flooring, and to provide the best service to their customers. Don has worked in both the retail and manufacturing side of the flooring industry. Don’s hobbies include his family; he and his wife, Toni, have two children, Taylor and Chase, who also have kids of their own. With three grand kids, there are always new hobbies to find. |
![]() | Jamin Carter, General Manager Jamin Carter enjoys working in the retail industry. He finds the constant change exciting and challenging. He also enjoys being able to work with people as they explore their options and see their dream home become a reality. Jamin tries to listen to his client’s needs and wants so he can meet them as best as possible. He graduated from a small Bible College in South Carolina, and attributes who he is today from what he learned there. Jamin, his wife April, and their seven kids love being outdoors, going to Disney, traveling and just relaxing with the kids watching The Princess Bride. |
![]() | Fred Love, Operations Manager/ Installation Manager Fred works with the sales team and the installers to ensure the proper materials are selected for each job, with the most advance software for measuring in this industry to ensure the customer has the most awesome experience with the Wheat’s. Fred schedules all installation once the materials arrive. If there is a problem with an installation, Fred gets the details and work with customer directly to ensure the issue is corrected in a timely and professional manner. Fred graduated from St.Pete High School, St. Petersburg, FL. He has a certification as an Executive House Keeper from St. Pete Community College, St. Petersburg, FL. Fred is certified in Workforce Professionals from Shelton State Community College, Tuscaloosa, AL. Fred has been with Wheat’s in sales and management since 1994.When he is not in the office Fred enjoy working out, shooting pool and going to church. |
![]() | Jeff Thompson, Commercial Specialist Jeff Thompson has been working for Wheat’s Carpet One for more than 11 years now. He enjoys the interactions he has with customers. His responsibility is to travel to customer’s homes or business and measure their rooms and make flooring suggestions. Jeff has a degree in marketing from the University of Alabama and has been working in retail for over 35 years. In his free time he follows Crimson Tide sports, and spends time with his wife and two daughters. |

Tracy's niche is making a customer feel at home and that they have found a safe place for direction and expertise. Tracy's a graduate of The University of Alabama with a major in Communications. Her background is seasoned with experience in delivering uncompromising exceptional service and management for diversified industries. She is very zealous and passionate about developing long term business relationships. Tracy's hobbies include running, reading, writing, theatre, & being a connoisseur of movies. ![]() | Natalie Dauchy, Designer Natalie attended Savannah College of Art and Designand has a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts – Interior Design and a minor in Architecture. She previously worked for Summer Classics in Birmingham, AL and was the senior designer for Yessicks Design Center in Atlanta, Ga. Natalie also was one of the six finalist on a reality design show called Top Design that aired on Bravo in 2008. When working with her clients, Natalie works with them from start to finish. She begins with collaborating with the clients to see what their vision is. Then, draws new plans which include 3D renderings so they can see what the space will look like. Natalie not only helps her clients with their flooring needs but also advises on furnishings, cabinets selections, hardware, lighting and paint colors. |

His key responsibility at Wheat’s Carpet One is to provide support for builder clients. Mike has years of retail and customer service experience under his belt. In his free time he enjoys playing golf and going to Disney World. |

Selling flooring is the easy part, but knowing how to fit the right material into the right house is what gives my customers and I the joy they seek. There are always new adventures in this business and I help my clients accomplish what they dreamt of when they walked into our store, our vision come to life. I stand by my customers from the minute we begin discussion to the moment they can take off their shoes and step unto their dream flooring. It doesn’t stop there though; I specialize in designing the layout of my customer’s kitchen and bathroom’s. I am a family oriented Christian woman who believes we are all here to help someone and that’s what I am here to do for you. |

![]() | Mark Wheat, Merchandising Mark Wheat has been working at Wheat’s Carpet One since 1979 as an inventory controller and part-time sales professional. Flooring is what he knows best, from installing to manufacturing, customer service and data processing. Mark is currently Wheat’s product data manager and purchasing agent. In his free time he volunteers and offers guidance to those who struggle with drug and alcohol addiction. His 4 ½ year old granddaughter takes up the majority of his time when he sees her. |
